Blessings to my Sidewalk Friends

I took a walk with Lily at 7PM and ran into many of the people I know who live on my favorite walk to Harris Pond. I ran into Al and his grandson who live on my street, I ran into Sandy the cat lady and we had a long chat. Then I saw the four awning kids who I haven't seen in a while. I had a chance to visit with Helene's three kids and her neighbors too. The moon was a crescent and Venus was out. It is really wonderful to have a community of sidewalk friends. By the time I got home it was ten o'clock and I felt very happy. Sometimes I really needed to visit with people. Then Bill and I made cucumber sandwiches for a late night supper.
