After walking downtown in reverse direction than usual which confused Lily but delighted me, I returned my stack of Tai Chi books and DVD to the library. When we got home Lily and I were covered in dewdrops. I love that my dog forces me out each day. I saw Jay and we hugged and then squeezed hands."You seem much better today," I said."I am," he replied. He is such a beautiful soul. I wouldn't have these amazing sidewalk friends without Lily the soul of god-dog.
At 3 I needed an energy lift. I decided to put a teaspoon of coca and sugar in a porcelain mug and add hot coffee and then halved with hot milk. Perfect for a "soft Irish day!" Although perhaps seasonally I should be making Irish soda bread and drinking tea for St Pats.
I shaped my three grain sourdough loaves and set them in greased loaf pans to rise in the cold oven. My tomato sauce is simmering in the slow cooker and it is so delicious. I have sampled it with Parmesan and leftover olive fennel flat bread.
I read a great post "Letter to my ten year old self" on the MIGHTY. Check it out HERE. We should all write letters to our younger selves!
