Police offer to coach recruits

WOONSOCKET – Every year or two the Woonsocket Police Department recruits candidates for possible openings for patrol officers’ jobs, but this time around it’s doing things a little differently.

The recruiters don’t just want you to apply – they want you to pass the written, oral and agility tests necessary to land a spot on the police force. And they’re going out of their way to help by offering applicants pre-test coaching sessions ahead of the real thing.
