"How swimming saves our lives!"

Carol and I were just discussing this in the locker room today

"How swimming saves our lives!"

I get very disciplined when I am in the swim to save my life phases. I am cyclothymic and my mood cycle is 8-12 weeks long. When I am very low introverted energy I swim early in the morning to lift up and when I am high energy I swim later in the day, to calm down. Swimming is one of the most important tools I have. The YMCA is so kind and supportive so I enjoy going every day. I can't manage my mind without my athletic body. I pray that I will be able to come to the YMCA until my last day on Earth.
