Irish Oats

I love Irish oats also called pinhead oats or steel cut oats. We buy a 50 pound bag and keep it in the freezer using it all year long when baking multigrain breads. Yesterday we had our first big snowstorm so I cooked up a batch of Irish oats to have with a dash of milk and maple syrup. Delicious and soothing.
