My local PRICE RITE sells gorgeous bunches of cilantro for a buck. I regularly buy three and pulse it in the Cuisinart with garlic, olive oil, and a dash of vinegar and salt. I put it on everything. This morning I had it on my twice baked potato.
Cilantro:In ancient China, it was believed that consuming cilantro could bring about immortality. While in the Middle Ages in Europe, cilantro was used mostly in love potions and spells. Old texts, especially pertaining to magic or witchcraft, refer to cilantro as being used for protection, especially for gardeners or farmers.
