My Grandfather and mother and I all have sensitivity to fatty foods. They both had gallstones, gallbladder removal and ulcers.
Starting at age 13 I became curious to understand my tummy pain. I made yogurt. I became a health food cook rice beans vegetables, granola, sprouts, & multigrain sourdough baker. Recently I bought bacon for the first time in my life, and I used the bacon grease to season my pans and even this one addition caused me HEARTBURN. Live and learn.
I am the only one in my family of origin with allergies to nearly EVERYTHING. I tell myself it's a blessing in disguise, an opportunity to live and learn and educate.
