Parked behind the dumpster on her lunch break Gladys leaned into the Lexus' view mirror. Her chin was tilted forward as she began plucking each dark hair cursing in Spanish from the pain. For thousands of years women in China have shaved their chins and not only does it help solve the problem Their skin benefits from the daily exfoliation. But Gladys didn't believe in that. She insisted her hairs would become a full blown lumberjack's beard if she used a razor on her chin. Even though her husband is a practicing medical doctor and could tell her the truth she refused to consult him and instead spend her lunch breaks torturing herself with tweezers.
