Nearly every window is open letting in the pollen infused warm air. The calorie pear trees burst overnight and look like a wedding party along the baseball field. I walked Lily downtown and through River Island Park where she had a quick swim to cool off. We came back along the Main Street bi-pass parallel to Allen Street and walked behind the community garden and the public library where I saw a man straightening up having camped out in the shrubs overnight.
I decided to wash our winter pullovers and bedsheets and hang them out to dry. A glorious day in the city.
