Up Since 3:AM

Been up since 3 am after falling asleep at 10PM. Time FLIES in transmit. The weekend was about ten minutes long. No joke. I am reading FAST GIRL. She describes it well. Always in motion when manic. I am hypo-manic or near hypo-manic.

I woke thinking of baking heart-shaped wine biscotti as a quintessential RI retirement gift to our Woonsocket Police Chief. "We are groupies!" I say to my pal Sue, blushing and laughing. We we're standing in the produce section of the supermarket. I had just hand-picked two bags of green beans and she selected two perfect pears, holding one in each hand. "Everyone is sad that he is retiring. Nobody has ever done a job like he has for our City Police Department and Community relationships. I've asked him can you stay as an adviser, a consultant, a Chief of the Chiefs? I've told him 'The world needs your wisdom, especially now. If you get bored, please come back.'"

Joe Garlick of Neighborworks and Davis Moore 23 year old Artist in Residence are on their way over for a chat over my 16 bean kale soup + bread lunch at noon in my GHETTO (ice) PALACE. I am so excited. Transmit-mode confidence shields me from the SHAME of my falling down house. Don't apologize! This is not house and garden! I tell myself. This is like Jacob's house. INSPIRING ALIVE AMAZING.

I must walk Lily and do some notebook scribbling, and maybe vacuum a bit more, and bake the bread so it hides the vacuum cleaner smell and if I am still jittery practice my horn. I had to take migraine headache medicine because the air pressure dropped. I am a human barometer. One tablet of generic Excedrin makes me jittery but it works fast. Thank god.

I will nap when they leave or better yet, I'll go to bed at 7PM.
