Family Pool

Sometimes I fantasize about building an unheated backyard swimming pool but it would be a torture to all of the children surrounding us and I would worry about someone sneaking in and drowning. My small yard would become completely useless during the off season. I did have a blue plastic dog-pool once that I would sit in on hot days but I left it outside over the winter and it cracked.
