We are Alchemists We must Turn the Energy Around!

Refusal to Despair is an essay by Anais Nin in her book of lectures and essays. This book was a lifeline for me for many years. I used to buy copies as gifts for the few who might appreciate it. In the past few years my fears and outrage have reached a fevered and unhealthy pitch. Yet I refuse to become cynical. I LOVE PEOPLE, art music food and time spent with dogs. So it's Comedy or die! Think globally (if you dare) but ACT LOCALLY!!!(if you dare!) I am thinking "What can I do right here right now." I refuse to let Mr. *****'s hateful ways destroy my world. As an artist and daughter of narcissistic tyrants I am used to turning the energy around to save my life. This is exactly what we all must do as individuals and as a nation and citizens of the planet. Read Rumi, Ram Dass, and all of the heroes and saints. Spend time in the library. Read history to gain perspective. Be glad you are not living in Syria right now.
