A Happy Texas Meat Story

Hi Emily,

The gist of the story is that my friend's daughter and husband live down in Texas. They were New Englanders previously and had vehicles that could cut through snow and bad weather. When the snowstorm hit Texas, my friend's husband towed 20 cars out of harm's way. In one instance he had to move a car out of the way that was blocking a semi. The semi was carrying 1000 pounds of meat. The guy driving a semi was so happy that my friend's husband towed the car out of the way that he gave him a 50 pound slab of meat. It worked out great because my friend's husband had a bunch of people stay over because of the storm so they all had a delicious meaty dinner!

Enjoy the weekend,

Linda
