Impersonator

Yesterday I was walking Romeo heading north when I saw a dirt biker ride past me. I looked to see if he had a tag and noticed his black vest had POLICE in large white type across his back. I phoned dispatch and gave them a heads-up. "He went east on Privilege Street," I said.  

A few years ago the guys on East School bought a second hand police van. They insisted on parking it out front with the POLICE graphics still on the car. Until they were told to paint over it or it would be confiscated.

Our neighborhood is never dull.
