Fear of Poverty
When the great recession hit we hunkered down to save our home and our lives. The heat stayed off during the winter. We wore long underwear. We went to the library daily, and took walks and made soup and bread. We didn't do anything that cost money. Our friends and families treated us like we had the plague. They feared like most do, that poverty is contagious. I did a lot of thinking about community and poverty and FEAR.
