Yields 2 smoothies
Chocolate Espresso Banana Smoothie
2 frozen bananas
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (any milk will work)
1/3 cup non fat plain Greek yogurt
1/2 t. vanilla extract
1 t. espresso powder
1 T. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 t. honey (optional)
Cut the frozen bananas into chunks and place in the blender.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the blender.
Blend until smooth.
Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.
I used unsweetened almond milk in my smoothie, but any kind of milk would work just as well.
