Mothers, Bats, and Snakes

Yesterday the neighborhood group of nine year old kids found a garder snake and brought it home to the mom next door. The screams and curses were heard across the city.

My husband has a story of when he was nine he his friends caught a bat and brought it home to show his friends mom. She screamed bloody murder. They took the bat to his mom and she loved it and stroked it on the head.
