I am in my office with the doors to the front of the house closed and I am eating three chopped-up apples and leftover cavatelli from Angelo's on Federal Hill for lunch.
My head is pounding from jackhammers and juniper allergies and Monday chaos, wow!
The neighbor's 2.9 ton black Ford Expedition in front of my garage has been towed away from my property, maybe by the landlord.
The tow-truck driver had his eight year old daughter with him and she was wearing a mask with a pattern that looked like pineapples, the welcome symbol, but on further examination I could see it was a pattern of tiny porcupines. "Are those porcupines?"
She nodded. "Wow!That's so cool!" I said. The girl seemed unhappy. My guess is she was sick and traveling with dad to work because there was no place else for her to go.
