Home On the Farm

 After my swim classes last night I stopped at the grocery on my way home. They are open late and I was just before closing time. 

I raced around in a hungry froth. I boughttwo hands of bananas, red potatoes, carrots, and great looking green beans.

 This morning I chopped peeled and chopped the carrot, onion, red potato, green beans, and pressure cooked them with my Christmas gift...French Gourmet dried mushrooms. Then I added fresh lemon juice because it was leftover from hummus making and Kosher salt. DELICIOUS!

Yesterday I incubated sour milk with buttermilk in mason jars on top of the boiler and it cultured in a few hours. I refrigerated it overnight. Then, this morning I poured it through cheese cloth to make cheese. I drank the whey with salt added. Delicious

The creamy buttermilk cheese is delicious too.
