Library Card

She was about to sign her name to get her first library card at age 15, but she whipped out her phone to call her mom and ask permission. This gave me an idea into the relationship. It was identical to the dynamic I grew up with although I was allowed a library card at age 7, I wasn't allowed to lock the bathroom door.
