Dog Head Stench

Romeo never smells like skunk, (so far so good) but he smells like road kill if he sneaks his head under a shrub on our downtown walk. I don't notice it until he sits next to me at my desk and I get the putrid stench flying up off his head. That's when I grab a soapy sponge and give his head a quick bath. It's a daily routine in Spring. I can only imagine downtown is crawling with critters every night.
