Tracy Lafleur began working on farms in New England in 2008. After graduating from the University of Maine in 2011 with a Bachelors in Sustainable Agriculture, she moved south to the Piedmont of North Carolina.  She is excited to be joined by her husband Rob VanVeld, who has become an indispensable part of the farm, taking on building projects, farm maintenance, working with our crew, and being an all-around great guy.

At Sugar Hill Produce, we care deeply for the health of our community and for the environment. We do not use synthetic pesticides or synthetic fertilizers on our farm. Ever. We believe that feeding people fresh, sustainable food is an important part of creating communities that are healthy, vibrant, & connected.

Three years after starting the business in 2016 at the Breeze Incubator Farm in Hurdle Mills, NC, we are excited to have land to call our own! This year marks the second year on our new forever farm Cedar Grove, N C sugarhillproduce@gmail.com
