Drug task force seizes heroin, cocaine in Woonsocket raid

WOONSOCKET, R.I. — A drug raid led by the State Police on Wednesday has resulted in the arrest of a local man who investigators say was in possession of large quantities of heroin and cocaine.
The police say that when they executed a search warrant at 355 Paradis Ave., they seized 1,980 grams of cocaine and 556 grams of heroin, as well as packaging materials and scales.
Francy Pimentel, 28, of 240 Rockridge Rd., was arrested on multiple charges of drug possession with intent to deliver and drug distribution in a school zone.
The raid was conducted by the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force (HIDTA), which is led by the State Police with the support of local police departments.
