I was remembering K's bathroom door papered with books like a library and her uncle was a writer. I remember thet had white carpets!!  She and her brother Glenn read the local DAILY TIMES newspaper. I remember your moms stretch bell bottoms. I remember Cynthia Berardi's backyard party where I had red chili flake on pizza and nearly burned my mouth off. LOL

 

I  remember the other girl on your street whose dad was vice president of PEZ. I went to a birthday party there and ate McDonalds  hamburgers and an a do it yourself ice cream sundae with cool whip. I remember it was too big for me to finish.

 

I remember we grew carrots tops on the windowsill and made octopus from yarn and tennis balls.

 

Do you remember the one black girl in Mr. Papierman's class Diane Thomas? She was my friend. We got busted for talking during current events and had to do a report on HOWARD HUGHES but then abruptly she moved away. I dreamed that she died back then. My mother said "Moving away is like a death"

 

I had a fish tank all because of Papierman! I loved it!! It was my bedroom TV. I would turn out the lights and watch the fish. They always gave birth on the full  moon.
